Ik wil via email een open sollicitatiebrief schrijven naar een buitenlandse universiteit voor een stage. Ik heb mijn best gedaan om er een mooi geheel van te maken. Ik zou het heel erg op prijs stellen als er mensen aanwezig zijn die het even willen doorlezen en hun mening erover willen geven of foutjes aan kunnen wijzen.

Dear Sir / Madam,
With this letter I would like to inform about the possibility of an third year internship at your company. This internship would preferably be during a period of 5 months, starting at the beginning of September 2010 and ending at the end of January 2011.
Currently I am a second year student Marine Engineering at Inholland University of Applied Science in the Netherlands. The university is of interest to me because of the work environment of an university itself and because I want to taste the culture of Australia. I really hope there are some internship positions/tasks available in the field of Marine engineering.
I will be grateful if you will be able to provide me with an internship position on the university. If any other information is required, I am always available to comply with it.
