This requires Black Belt Project Managers who can lead teams in complex on-site improvement projects.

Black Belt Project Manager

Our Ethylene and Sulfur Derivatives business unit is part of the Specialty Chemicals business area. As a major producer of specialty chemicals with leadership positions in many markets, we supply industries worldwide with quality ingredients including chemical intermediates and performance chemicals such as cellulosic specialties, chelates, ethylene amines, micronutrients, polysulfides and sulfur products.
The role and its responsibilities
This is a high level role in which you take responsibility for leading teams in the execution of complex L6S projects that deliver significant financial benefits. You lead multiple projects simultaneously, using data and information to break down scenarios to root causes, finding patterns and relationships, and solving problems in a practical, permanent way.
In doing so you provide those working on the projects with a clear sense of direction, building teamwork through engagement and aligning towards individual and collective goals. You also help your teams to understand, learn and use L6S tools and techniques for current and future purposes.
At all times you maintain a customer focus and push for innovative improvements while understanding the need to balance and assess risks relative to practicality and compliance, without compromising legal or safety requirements.

Job requirements / Candidate profile
To apply for this position the following attributes are significant:
• Master's degree, ideally in Engineering or Chemistry
• Project management and a basic working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma;
• Awareness of business processes and financial analysis;
• Willing and able to travel overnight more than 60% of the time in some weeks;
• Good communication and public speaking skills including a high level of written and spoken English.
